Staff was very friendly, and the food was excellent

Quaint rooms with a nice bathroom, everything I needed for a one night stay. Friendly staff in the pub. Right next to the train station so very easy to get around

Very loud from the pub downstairs. I was staying in December so understandably there were Christmas parties going on. However the noise from loud music and people singing and shouting went on well past 1am, even though the website says the pub closes at midnight.

Great staff, exceptionally clean, beautiful bathroom and very comfortable bed. Kettle and tea provided, We loved the modern shower and good sized bathroom.

We stayed Christmas time and the room was incredibly cold - there are two ventilation vents - one in the room with no cover whatsoever, basically a large gap in the wall, and another one in the bathroom. They create draft and with -1 outside we had 12 degrees in our room, so freezing cold!

Manager was really helpful (even let us check in early) and his staff were all so friendly. The location was right near the railway station so it was perfect for travelling in and out of London. Great value also !

Nothing that I would not expect for a room in a pub.
