"nice building, certainly old. lovely atmosphere but doubt we would return"

food was excellent in the restaurant. receptionist was helpful and polite

room smelt really bad, and television didn’t work.

I did not take breakfast (never do)

I have only a small criticism. I was told by the waitress that I might have to wait a while for dinner, as they were expecting a large party. I expect positive responses to guests.

"Good personnel, loud room to street and very bad/old mattress."

- Room was okay, but window oriented directly to the street. Impossible to sleep with open windows. - Bed was very poor - you could feel the slatted frame through the mattress

Excellent value for money. Large rooms, comfortable beds, very extensive and tasty breakfast, and friendly staff. Perfect stopover near Hamburg. Warmly recommended.
