The hotel is like a living museum. The staff are superb, and the evening meal was scrumptious

The bed was incredibly hard, I got almost no sleep, but my friend slept ok.

"Calm and pleasant."

As a place to stay on our way up and across Europe this hotel was ideal. Although it is on a busy road, our room was at the back and was quiet, with a view over fields. The food both at supper and at breakfast was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the bed comfortable. I couldn't easily have wished for more.
