What did you like? I’ll give credit where it’s due: the physical property of Luis Miguel’s is lovely, and the rooms themselves are quite nice—which is exactly why it’s such a shame my family didn't actually get to stay in all the ones I paid for. The aesthetic is great, it’s just the math and the ethics that seem to be a bit "off" here. I booked and paid for three rooms to ensure my family of six had enough space to breathe. Upon check-in, I was informed that despite my confirmed booking and payment, they only had two rooms available. Their "solution" was to squeeze us into those two rooms with extra beds. While the extra beds were a nice gesture for a mistake they caused, they aren't a substitute for the entire third room I already paid for. It’s a bit of a backhanded "upgrade" - being told you're getting a solution while the hotel quietly keeps the money for a room they never provided. It’s disappointing because the staff is pleasant enough, but pleasantness doesn't pay for a room that doesn't exist. If you’re looking for a place that looks great in photos but might struggle with the basic concept of "giving you what you paid for," this is the spot. I’m still waiting for management to find their conscience (and my refund) for the missing room.

I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel I have no choice after my family’s experience at Luis Miguel’s. We traveled as a family of six and, wanting everyone to be comfortable, I specifically booked and prepaid for three separate rooms. Upon arrival, we were told that the three rooms we paid for weren't available. Instead of honoring our booking, the staff placed us into just two rooms and threw in a couple of extra beds as a "fix." Here is the part that truly hurts: Despite physically taking away an entire room that I worked hard to pay for, the hotel has offered zero compensation or refund for the missing room. As a parent, you plan these trips to be seamless and restful. Instead, we spent our stay cramped and feeling taken advantage of. It’s one thing to have a booking error; it’s another thing entirely to keep a guest's money for a service you failed to provide. It feels less like a hospitality mistake and more like we were intentionally overcharged. I chose Luis Miguel’s because I trusted the name, but leaving with a lighter wallet and a cramped family feels incredibly dishonest. I truly hope management does the right thing and reaches out to settle the overpayment for the room we never received. Until then, I cannot recommend staying here if you value getting what you actually pay for.

We arrived very early morning & the staff was accommodating. Just what we needed - quiet cozy place to sleep & rest before our trip to Siquijor. Their restaurant was very convenient.

Het balkon ( 35 cm diep ) dus kon niet buiten zitten , dit was een grote teleurstelling omdat ik juist een kamer met balkon wilde hebben ) en het restaurant gedeelte ( 80 % van de menukaart was er niet ) zelfs geen koffie
