Elepath Lodge Pinnawala

The location is excellent for seeing the elephants, they literally walk past the front of the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Theres not much else to do in Pinnawala except see the elephants, and 1 night was enough. The air-con was very efficient and the bed was comfortable.

The sink in the bathroom leaked on to the floor. We didn't use the shower. The hotel is on the Main Street but this shut down around 7pm and it was quite desolate then, we struggled to find somewhere to eat.

Enjoyed our stay, great location , elephants passing right in front of hotel, staff very friendly and helpful.

This was the perfect stay for me and my boyfriend over valentines to watch the elephants. The room was comfortable, clean, and cool with air con and we had such a good nights sleep both nights. The staff here are welcoming with big smiles and are great to have conversations with. Each day you have multiple slots to watch the elephants walk past the hotel, and you have a coffee downstairs at arms reach of them. We would have loved to stay longer if our schedule had allowed us!

Absolutely nothing! Great place in the heart of pinwala!

Lack of restaurants in the evening, the location is busy during day but dead at night

very friendly staff. good location to see the elephants walking to the river.

Large clean room. Ac, Tv, hot water. Balcony where you could watch the elephants walk by on the way to the river to bathe. That was a great experience to watch the elephants a few feet from the Balcony and also a couple of minutes walk to watch them bathe.
