Muy bueno el desayuno.

Le falta una mejor aislación. Y que den almuerzo. No dan almuerzo

El Hotel Ohana fue una experiencia maravillosa de comienzo a fin. Si tu objetivo es descansar, el Hotel ofrece el lugar perfecto para desconectarte y disfrutar. Pero el punto principal fue el personal del Hotel. Paula, Guillermo y Camila hicieron todo lo necesario para que nuestra estadía fuese perfecta. Muchas gracias por la celebración de cumpleaños y por la cena... creo que fue la mejor comida que comimos en la Isla. Maururu!!

Very comfortable hotel, Camila was a very nice host. Breakfast was simple but nice. The room was spacious.

It’s a bit of a walk from the main town, but they have a few taxi drivers that you can WhatsApp to arrange transfer.

La colazione è poco varia e c’è poca scelta. Da un hotel di questo livello ci si aspetta una colazione migliore

Breakfast was like an advanced Ibis, you could order your eggs but no special coffees like cappuccino. They offer one meal in the evening but I have allergies so we couldn’t eat it. The hotel is next to a diy warehouse and a car repair place with lots of welding, hammering. Also the neighbours had dogs that would bark a lot in the middle of the night. The terrace is nice but you won’t be able to use it during the day because of the noise next door. Staff was friendly. The only downside with the staff was that we had to argue the time to go to the airport. You do not need 3hr before your flight. So we agreed with them to go at 12.30 and they told other guests at 12.00 so what they did was leave in between. Please note that you have to lift your own suitcase in and out the car. You can walk into town but it is nice a nice walk. We did it every day. Perhaps if the surroundings were as quiet as it looked on the pictures it would have been good.

Das Hotel an sich ist sehr schön und neu (zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes drei Jahre). Das jüngere Personal ist sehr nett und aufgeschlossen, die ältere Mitarbeiterin, die auch die Gäste vom Flughafen abholt ist nicht unfreundlich, aber total reserviert. Man könnte den Empfang am Flughafen dementsprechend etwas netter gestalten. Wahrscheinlich liegt es aber auch daran, dass die Dame kein Wort Englisch spricht und daher wahrscheinlich etwas schüchtern ist. Der übliche Standard der Hotels auf der Osterinsel ist eher bescheiden. Es gibt noch ein fünf Sterne Hotel in der Stadt, allerdings sind die Preise hier deutlich höher und den Bewertungen nach zu urteilen nicht unbedingt gerechtfertigt. Wer also Wert auf eine moderne saubere und komfortable Unterkunft legt, ist hier richtig. Unser Zimmer im ersten Geschoss war dazu noch riesig.

Das Hotel, was ursprünglich als Privatdomizil des Eigentümers gedacht war, liegt in einem Gewerbegebiet zwischen zwei Firmen. Auf der einen Seite ist nur das große Lagergebäude optisch etwas störend (subjektive Betrachtung), auf der anderen stört leider gelegentlich auch der Lärm, wenn dort gearbeitet wird. Ohne Mietwagen ist der Aufenthalt etwas schwierig, da der Weg in die Stadt rd. 40 Minuten zu Fuß dauert und es keine Bürgersteige nach deutschem Standard gibt (wenn es welche gibt). Da das Hotel im Gewerbegebiet und auch nicht in der Nähe des Wassers liegt, ist man wie gesagt auf Mietwagen, Taxi, Hoteltransfer oder 40 Minuten Fußweg angewiesen um etwas Abwechslung vom Hotel zu erhalten. Noch störender als der gelegentliche Lärm der Firmen in der Nachbarschaft ist allerdings der Lärm im Haus. Das Hotel hat gefühlt überhaupt keine Schallisolation. Wenn morgens in der Küche das Frühstück vorbereitet wurde, fühlte man sich, als würde man in der Küche im Bett liegen. Der Verkehr auf der Straße (nicht übermäßig viel), führte, natürlich auch nur gefühlt, mitten durch das Zimmer.

La atención del personal es excelente, Camila se portó muy bien y se destaca.

Alquilamos un tour a las 15hs para el día siguiente que comenzaba 9:30am, a las 9:15 nos avisaron que se cancelaba, creo que son cosas que no pueden pasar, menos en un hotel así.
