"Excellent hotel in the remote island"

My husband and I had an opportunity to stay at Hotel Ohana during our vacation in November. It met our expectation and it absolutely deserves Tripadvisor's number 1 ranking. First, staffs were very polite and friendly. They made us feel very welcomed, and accommodated us from last minute restaurant reservations and arranging a rental car. We stayed in room #9, and it was much more spacious and modern than it appears on the photos. It was very clean and we felt very comfortable with nice ice cold air conditioning. Breakfast was great, and the tuna steak I ate for lunch was so delicious. My husband arranged a full day and a half day tour through the hotel prior to the visit. It went without a hitch, and our tour guide Annette was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and treated us with good mixture of friendliness and professionalism. I would highly recommend requesting her service upon booking the tours. Hotel is small with only 9 rooms, so it retains the remote island feel. It's never crowded at any point. If we wanted to stay at the bigger luxury resorts, we'd probably went to Hawaii instead. I would say that I made a right decision to book Hotel Ohana.

Friendly staff, great breakfast. Very clean. We even got a departure gift.

Nothing to complain about, but the hotel could benefit from offering meals (or at least snacks) outside of breakfast. Probably difficult with the limited staff.
