Friendly and helpful, quiet with big comfy bed

Everyone was welcoming and very friendly and went out of the way to look after us and topped off with a really good full English to start our travels the next day

Room was clean, one woman staff was very friendly on initial check in

I was in the middle of an important work video call in my room at about 3:30pm, the door was locked and check in had been completed a few hours earlier so the room was mine. The staff at hotel opened the door loudly by attempting to open the door many times and then using a key to unlock it, proceeded to enter the room while I was in there during a work call!! I could’ve been in there doing anything/ getting changed etc and the staff just barged in, checked something in the bathroom and left and I never saw them again - I thought this was very odd and it made me worried about who else was going into the room when I wasn’t there! Noisey pub downstairs, but I did stay over a weekend. Bed sunk in the middle.

It had a car park

This is not a family hotel…..it is a pub that rents out rooms to workers from away.
