Alam Karang

Die Bungalows liegen direkt am Strand und sind super sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Alles ist den Bildern entsprechend. Marie und ihr Manager Dannie sind immer bemüht, erkundigen sich regelmäßig und gehen auf Wünsche ein. Marie hat eine Schnorcheltour mit zwei weiteren Gästen für mich organisiert, sodass wir uns die Kosten teilen konnten. Auch direkt vor der Hütte kann man bei Flut sehr gut schnorcheln, es gibt einiges zu sehen. Ich würde hier auf jeden Fall erneut buchen, habe mich zu jederzeit sicher und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. An meinem letzten Tag wurde sehr viel Müll angespült. Das war nicht so schön während des schnorchelns. Das ist aber nicht der Anlage geschuldet, sondern leider ein ganz großes allgemeines Problem. Das war zum Teil erschreckend anzusehen. An der Anlage selber wird der Müll schnellstens weggeräumt, sodass es dort immer sauber ist.

This place is wonderful. Marie and her staff met us off the boat and were always ready to help us after that. (Marie even lent me her long sleeved swimsuit to cover my arms on our snorkelling trip.) We fully recommend this boat trip, by the way, which takes you to Gili Layar and Gili Rengit as well as the other side of Gili Gede. The fish , again , were fabulous and we even swam with turtles. Our accommodation was fantastic, right on the beach, a few steps away from the water where we snorkelled every day-incredible! The restaurant is set back a little way with a view of the water through the vibrant bouganvillaeas and frangipanis and the food is lovely and well priced for the island. Marie even has snorkelling equipment for you to borrow if you need it. Altogether we had a marvellous 7 night stay here and would fully recommend Alam Karang to any fellow travellers. Lovely bungalows on the beach. The owner could not have been more helpful. Organised a taxi pick-up from the airport and then boat to Gili Gede. We organised a snorkelling trip with them which was well worth doing, you were also able to snorkel off the beach. There was also a kayak to use which was great. Really lovely stay. It is good to take your own water container.

There is a bit of rubbish in the village and on the beaches. Alam Karang is proactive in minimising the rubbish.

Marie was the hostess with the mostess, looked after us really well. A great little spot to relax and unwind, just what we needed.

L'endroit est superbe : hotel, plage, chambre. Très bon accueil et bon restaurant. Nous avons fait également du snorkeling +++ avec Marie, et de la plongée au club à coté (Trés bien )

Great food, incredible service, wonderful location for calm and uncrowded snorkelling trips. Would 10/10 recommend, our week here went by so quickly !

Es war alles wunderbar: das Zimmer direkt am Strand, Frühstück, Abendessen, das Riff vor dem Haus, der unglaublich tolle Schnorchelausflug, das Personal und die sehr nette Chefin!
