Hotel Garni Rodenbach

Located near my family members I was visiting. I appreciated the accessible room on the ground floor. The hotel was extremely quiet and had a large garden in back. The bed was comfortable.

There was no food or drink available on site even though there is a large breakfast room that was used pre-pandemic. Some of the cabinets were literally falling apart. The front desk was rarely staffed so my questions went unanswered. The refrigerator was missing the knob needed to turn it on. And the children’s playground is dilapidated.

I was not able to get into the hotel when I arrived. I arrived at 6pm , the front door was locked and no one came to the door. we called and left a message letting them know we were there to check in. No one ever called us back. We tried to get in again about 6L30pm and the door was still locked. We had to go and get a reservation at a different hotel.

Easy parking. Good sized bedroom. Functioning TVs. Toiletries and washcloths provided. Clean. Will stay again soon.

A lot of wires/wiring of electrical cords along the walls.

Really nice location, nice crew, vey comfy bed. The small fridge and microwave were amazing add ons. A lot of light, big room.

There wasn't any toiletries, no breakfast and I saw a cockroach in the corridor. Be aware there's no lift, so be ready to carry your luggage!
