Hotel Garni Rodenbach

It was good value for the amount we paid, Nice staff, free parking and a nice size refrigerator, 2 Tvs and a kitchen.

We thought they had a breakfast included but they informed us they did not have the staff to provide breakfast anymore.

The staff was incredibly kind and ready to give suggestions for local restaurants. Any question I had was answered, and I was treated very kindly. I witnessed several interactions between the staff and other guests, and I believe the staff handled every situation delicately and promptly. This hotel is definitely unique. The lighting is mostly colored LEDs, and the decorations are cute and simplistic. The property was very clean. Even though the hallway was slightly dark, I never felt unsafe in the hotel or the surrounding area.

My biggest issue: the wi-fi and cell signal are horrendous. Otherwise, there are some relatively insignificant items. The entrance was slightly difficult to find at first, and the parking is not the greatest. Parking is pretty limited and might be an issue during a busier season, although the hotel was not very busy when I was there. I was not aware air conditioning was an additional cost (five euros a night), however it is possible I did not read the listing accurately. That is definitely something to keep in mind for Americans or anyone else that values and is used to air conditioning.

The staff was pleasant.

The room decor was unusual. Stickers on the walls, stars on the ceiling.

We arrived late for check-in and informed the hotel accordingly. A staff member was waiting and gave us keys as soon as we arrived. Hotel was located on a quite street and not far from Ramstein airbase. Room was very nice decorated with lovely pictures on the wall. There was ample amount of parking available for our car.

TV channels were not working but we don't like to watch TV in the hotel room. Internet was working fine.
