Hotel Renuka

A lovely family run hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms in the haveli were spacious and comfortable. The rooftop was very nice, with shade and fort views and the chef was excellent.

Very good quality/price relation. It is a 5 minute walk from the fort in a quiet street, so it is not too noisy to sleep. The rooms are very clean and nice. The owners were very friendly and attentive at all times. Highly recommended.

It's in a good location, very near town market and only ten l minutes level walk to the Fort Gate. The manager speaks good English and is experienced dealing with tourists. The room was a good size, with windows that opened (mosquito netted). There was a ceiling fan and kettle in the room, AC in some. Some basic furniture and decoration, which gave the room some character. Strong wifi The rooftop is ok, a fort view and ok food, reasonably priced. The airport pickup arranged by the hotel was superb, and the price of it was included, no baksheessh to barter about. The hotel arranged a welll organised camel safari and the camel drivers on the safari out in the desert were very good. I was charged a very discounted rate on my hotel room for the night i spent on the (hotel) safari. I sort of understand that, but i wish i had thought it through beforehand. Be aware there are one or two steep flights of stairs to get to the rooms.

The room fittings were old and tired. And the room was not very clean. In my view, a hotel at this budget has to do basic cleaning between guests before it can be described as 'good'. The camel tour arranged by the hotel was nearly what was promised in terms of isolation (there were a few other groups sharing the dunes, and there were vehicles driving around the area we camped). This was not a major problem, and the guys in the desert managed it well, but I would have appreciated more realistic expectations. Also, there was a small lack of clarity about the price per person being dependent (or not) on group size.

If you need solid, clean, friendly and nice accommodation without superfluous luxury, this is the place for you. The price-performance ratio is great, the team is great, friendly and helpful and the camel tour is also highly recommended. I would stay here again any time I come to Jaisamler.

Staff very helpful and nice. The room is nice and clean. They gave us a lot of good recommendations of things to see and restaurants to go. We booked with them a camel safari and the experience was amazing. I highly recommend!

We stayed at Renuka for two nights and it was really good stay, they are very helpful and friendly. They provided also free pick up from the bus stand and gave us all the informations we needed. We booked the one and a half day Safari Tour and it was an amazong experience, we highly recommend to book the safari there!

The safari was incredible and unique. We have 4 days at the hotel and we very love the staff, the bedroom and the food. They help us all the trip in tje city. Jenny (Canadian)
