Kumarakom Wood Castle Serviced Appartments

We highly recommend the Wood Castle! The family running it is super nice and helpful. The mother cooked delicious and generous breakfasts and it was nice to have a chat with the father during breakfast. The son helped us find and arrange activities in the region and was very helpful and kind. The building is also very charming and the rooms comfortable.

Kumarakom Wood Castle is excellent for couples and families. The rooms are clean. They also provided toiletry kits, dental kits and clean towels. But the best part is they also keep an electric kettle along with tea kits. The room was just the right size for my family. It had a beautiful balcony too. The wood castle completely takes after its name, for you would see a lot of beautiful wood work in the rooms, and the exterior too. Its located on the main road, and in the vicinity of many good restaurant. The ground floor of the restaurant has an antique shop that sells beautiful and curio items at affordable prices. But the best part of this beautiful place is the amazing hosts. They serve the best breakfast we have ever had while on a vacation. They are very helpful and made our stay very convenient. They even arranged for vehicles for us for visiting places. Besides, the bird sanctuary and the boating office is also close by. We stayed in Kumarakom Wood Castle for three days, and I am very happy I chose this place. At the end of our stay my four year old kid beautifully summed up her stay here with - "Why can't we stay here forever! It is such a beautiful place!" I recommend this place for everyone who visits Kumarakom!

I don't think anything in this property is unworthy of liking any grounds. It is just superb!

The owners were very warm and we felt just like at home! The room was very clean. They were so kind to help organise our boat trip locally. We didn't stay for dinner, but we had breakfast and it was just delicious. On the ground floor is a shop of beautiful handcrafted items reflecting Kerala's culture. We highly recommend the stay!

Pleasant stay at the backwaters of Kerala. Beautiful building, clean rooms and very welcoming and knowledgeable host.
