"A nice place if you want to explore the backwaters of Kerala"

We enjoyed our stay in Kumarakon Wood Castle, the rooms were simple but clean, the owner very friendly and helpfull to organize the boat trips, massages or walk around the property. We also had an homemade diner and the prawn curry was really delicious. There is also a nice museum on the top of the house with hundred of vintage items.

A lovely, helpful host who makes a fantastic south Indian breakfast. Having the bikes was amazing for exploring the backwaters and paddy fields

There were some very loud power tools being used during my stay which ruined the tranquility somewhat.
