Kumarakom Wood Castle Serviced Appartments

Lovely building with well appointed and comfortable rooms. Fantastic staff and lovely home cooked food. All at a very reasonable cost. Whats not to like. I would reccomend the Wood Castle to anyone looking for an authentic home stay experience. 5 stars.

This is a very beautiful and interesting building that also houses a curiosity shop. There are restaurants and kiosks all around the property and the breakfast served here was the best we had during our time in India. The Owner is a lovely woman and nothing is too much trouble for her. The rooms are very clean and tidy with great air conditioning.

The Wooden Castle is beautiful, and within easy walking distance of the canal and restaurants. I had a lovely room with a big balcony and a very comfortable bed. The family who run this hotel are so friendly and helpful. They booked me an early boat to watch the sunrise and the opening of the water lilies on the canals and lake. It was magical. Then I was fed a huge, delicious home-cooked breakfast. Thank you for your hospitality.

Lovely stay and made To feel so welcome. Breakfast was amazing. Was a let to arrange boat trip and onward taxi very easily from here

Cost comfortable and lovely wooden interiors

Location was very close to all of the places that we wanted to visit, the breakfast provided was amazing, very helpful host, clean rooms with clean bathrooms

Beds was not very comfortable in one of the room, the water took some time to get heated.
