Royal Victoria Hotel Snowdonia

Breakfast and Location is good.

The price charged for rooms is really high but the quality of rooms is quite low. I have paid less money in Switzerland and stayed at nicer rooms than this hotel.

Great location just opposite the Snowdon mountain railway and easy walking to the lake, village centre and other places of interest. Lovely grounds and the food in the main restaurant was really delicious.

My room was boiling hot - it was lovely weather during my stay but not so hot that the room should be that hot, and it was much hotter than anywhere else in the hotel. A fan was provided but I had it on full and it made little difference. I mentioned it to reception who were very nice and said they'd look into it but I didn't hear anything else and nothing changed.

Clean, tidy and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Very tasty vegetarian options in breakfast. The location is very close to Snowdon mountain train station.
