Breakfast was good. Ample parking.

The place looked tired needing a bit of investment… carpets a decor showed a place that was being run down maybe? This said it was a warm and welcoming place - just difficult to see it being a shadow of its former self when I regularly stayed there 15+ years ago.

Love the warm country house feel. There is a sense of “coming home”. The furnishings, the home decor? Fabulous

The shower in the shared bathroom was tricky! But we had a lovely bath post Snowdon hike!

Staff very lovely. Rooms were lovely. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. House is fabulous.

Tiny bathroom in the twin room. Shower in the double room was a handset at bath level and with no curtain...had to sit in the bath to avoid splashing water.

Beautiful house and room, we enjoyed the roll top bath and home cooked breakfast. A real hidden gem, perfect for a romantic get a way, lovely host and staff.Will definitely stay again,thank you.

The big bed and the bath were exactly what I needed. Only 30 minutes away from snowdonia too!

Lovely house, interior decor is amazing, nice honesty bar, amazing history on the walls and rooms comfortable, the beds the most comfortable we’ve ever come across.

The honesty bar prices are just too high. When you can buy 4 bottles of beer for £7 from supermarkets it needs for reflect that a bit more - not a criticism but more constructive feedback. I’d hope that all guests are honest and that prices don’t reflect items not being paid for.

The room was extremely spacious - which was great as I need space to move around. I booked a room for myself (alone) though it had twin beds. The beds were so comfortable; again my old age 'aches and pains' really appreciated that. Large flat screen TV with two high back chairs were also there. The house itself is amazing. You would think you were staying the home of the local squire. I wish I could describe it better but you have to see it for yourself to realise just how wonderful it is. Oh - the breakfast - which I had not realised was included in the price when I booked - was beautifully cooked and presented. It is adults only - so peaceful. If you want to visit Carnarvon it is only a few minutes drive and only about 25 minutes from Snowden as well. It was fully booked when I was there and I would not be surprised if it always was.
