"Beautiful peaceful place to stay"

A really beautiful country house, furnished in great style and comfort, set in grounds well away from the road so quiet and peaceful. The delightful owner looked after us extremely well and lent us plates, cutlery and glasses for our picnic dinner which we had sitting in the charming secluded garden to the back of the house. Breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble for our lovely hosts.

Loved all the original features in the room and the space.

The place is lovely, but looks very tired and cluttered and there are loads of cobwebs everywhere!

charming old British style hotel; rooms confortable, very big parking place, we did not have breakfast then we cannot comment

far from city center (you need a car, but we knew it; hence no problem); flexible head shower not working properly in room with twin beds and with shared bathroom (no water flow) and hence obliged to take a full bath (time and water consuming process)
