Doowall Hotel

It’s a lovely hotel. I wish I booked more than one night, so our family could enjoy the facility a bit more. The view and the set up is very comfortable. The staff are very friendly too. Plus it’s so close to the white temple!

Very and friendly stuff. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel— nice fields view, decorations and pool. Everything is perfect.

Amazing facilities both in the room and in the hotel, where you can really relax! It was amazing to have breakfast by the pond and also to enjoy our private pool and bathtub. Also the staff is really kind and helpful. The location can be an advantage, since it’s away from the chaotic city center but easily reachable by grab or any taxi. The restaurant offers good quality and variety of food (special mention to the amazing coffee). I would definitely stay here again!

Only minor details: there was a paper tissue by the pool when we arrived and also we had some issues with the electricity in the room on our last night. Both issues were promptly addressed by the staff :)

Amazing place with great food and outstanding architecture! But the best thing about Doowall is the amazing staff who danced with our daughter every evening ❤️

From the moment we arrived, the staff were both incredibly friendly and attentive. Our bags were taken to our room and we were given an overview of the facilities and food options. There is free tea, coffee, water and some snacks at the reception kitchen, which is a really nice touch. The room itself… wow. We stayed in one of the lake view cottages and it was an absolute slice of heaven. In the middle of a jam packed busy travel schedule, this was exactly what we needed. The pool area is small but clean and idyllic. We enjoyed catching some rays in the late afternoon and then in the morning before checking out. Only two sunbed, but most of the hotel rooms have private pools so we didn’t find this affected us. The location is prime for the White Temple in particular. They offer free bikes which we used to cycle over for the final hour of opening, which was the perfect time for a quiet visit. We were tempted by the morning but we were too relaxed to get up and leave in the end. I anticipate the morning is even more of a quiet time to visit the temple though. You MUST get the Pad Thai. It was exceptional and different from any others we’ve tried. Definitely had their own twist on the dish which we loved. If you’re looking for a completely unique stay, outside of the tourist areas for one or a few nights, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. A final shoutout to the staff who immediately did a ‘nervous’ of our room after checking out, and returned my partner’s shorts which he’d left. Those are the touches that make all the difference to a stay. Thank you Doowall Hall!

The bikes are a little rusty and old but it just made us giggle all the way to the temple. The staff saw us struggle and immediately run out with another bike to switch.

The sincere service of all the staff makes us feel warm from our deep heart. Their smile and politeness are very impressive. The environment is very wonderful,too. The green field around the small cottage let us enjoy the moment staying in the room.

The smell of the toilet is not good. There may be kind of problems about the toilet pipeline. Mosquitoes can not be totally avoided here.
