A pretty property with a lot of potential. The staff in the bar were really lovely and the food was nice for dinner. The clothes washing facilities were a fantastic addition.

The property is very dated and not particularly well maintained. Staff were hit and miss. We had an issue with our toilet and eventually they were helpful and moved our room but it was a bit of a punish to try and get sorted. The breakfast was seriously yuck. Soggy wet bacon for example. This place was also incredibly expensive for the standard of accommodation/service.

The grounds were very well kept with paths and seats to enjoy it. The hotel buildings were magnificent and well kept.There was a museum in the basement which detailed it's history.

We enjoyed it all and a good base for a mini break.

Ein tolles Haus. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das Haus ist nun mal sehr alt. Aber super freundliche Mitarbeiter. Man hat immer ein wenig das Gefühl, als Lord und Lady im 19. Jahrhundert hier unterwegs zu sein. Sehr gepflegtes Aussenanlage. Brennender Kamin auch Anfang Juni. Super Frühstücksraum.

Sehr kleines Zimmer. Musste über das Bett steigen, um ans Fenster zu gelangen. Dieses ließ sich zunächst nicht öffnen, da völlig mit Farbe verklebt.
