"Home away from home"

Everything! Everyone welcomed me like family and I felt the love and care they have for their guests. The location was very close to the bus stop for getting around Courmeyeur, the Skyway was only a fifteen minute walk away. The area homes reminded me of a Scandinavian village. There is an excellent restaurant just a few minutes from Hotel (Auberge Le Maison). The room was very clean, with ensuite, This hotel serves a robust Italian breakfast with fresh baked cakes every morning. Exceptional hotel with history, beautiful views of Mont Blanc, too many other wonderful things to mention, but well worth your visit.

That I had to leave such beautiful people and such a beautiful place. 😔

My friend and I stayed at Hotel Aiguille Noire while doing the Tour de Mont Blanc (TMB). We could not have chosen a better place to stay. This hotel has been in the same family for four generations, which results in a great deal of care and effort. Our check in was easy, our room was spacious and comfortable (and even had a balcony), and the front lawn was perfect for an afternoon drink after hiking all day. Every person we encountered was kind and generous with their time. One of the owners even called a refuge for my friend and I to ensure we had a place to stay the next night on our trek. We feel so lucky that we were able to spend some time at this hotel. It was absolutely wonderful!
