Cedar Court Hotel Harrogate

Everything was perfect, my only criticism was the fact Harrogate town got relegated! But that's not your fault.

Cedar Court is one of those historic buildings that give an old-world feel to visiting Harrogate, but with some rather nice updates. The room we had was clean and comfortable and delivered the essentials. The breakfast was delicious. And just hanging out in one of the many lobby rooms was a nice way to while away our time. Best, it's located just a few blocks from the town's center of action, most especially, Betty's Tea Rooms and Imagined Things, a small, well-curated independent bookshop.

Attending and wedding evening party, checked in the room to find the double glazed units have failed as there was condensation in the panes,room has dusty, instructions on how to use the coffee machine but no machine just packet instant standard Nescafé and for £165 for the room plus additional £12 to park the car in the grounds I find to be very insulting then when leaving both lifts where out of order I would suggest to steer clear. I would not call this a four hotel.

Lovely comfy beds - we had an ordinary double room. Good breakfast and excellent location. Most important for us is the good number of parking places.

Stayed for my 60th birthday celebrations with my family, 7 adults, 1 x 5 year old and 2 dogs. The hotel is very good with really friendly staff. A very easy check in seeing that there were 4 rooms. The restaurant and bar are tastefully decorated with a good atmosphere, mainly because of the professionalism and friendliness of all the staff, nothing was too much trouble. The food at breakfast was good quality and lots of it. Was the hottest days of the year but was great to sit outside in the shade in comfortable seating at the front of the hotel with drinks. Everyone had a really great time and would recommend and will definitely be back.

Made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Lounge area and restaurant have a feel of luxury, instantly felt relaxed and looked after. Staff couldn't be more helpful, even preparing us a snack after food serving times. Only downside was WiFi wasn't the best in the bedroom., making it impossible to watch anything on the TV. Despite this, we are already looking at dates for a return visit.

Having been before we knew what to expect and we weren't disappointed. Will return again.
