Petrakis Inn

I was in one of the « suite ». Large room with beautiful stone walls. Large private terrace. Location perfect. It’s an Inn, not a typical hotel but staff was always available & responsive by messages.

the location was good if you want to stay in the old city. It is also close to the tram to connect to other parts of the city. Some restaurants nearby open in shabbat which is good. After sunset the streets get very empty in this area, as I was travelling by myself, I avoided coming back after 7pm. The staff is friendly, gave tips to dine and was flexible with check in / check out.

Be aware the church bell in front is very loud and I would wake up every day at 6 am. There was also some water sound from the other rooms (shower? toilet flush?) that were bothering. The shower is not so good (might need a minor repair on the head)

We requested to and received approval for early check in very quickly. When we arrived, we called and Dimitri was very fast to arrive with the key and showed us the room and the facilities. Location was great! And bed was very comfortable.

Bathroom was a tad small.

I had a fantastic experience during my 2-night stay at Petrakis Inn in Jerusalem. The accommodation was cozy, clean, and perfectly located. A special thanks to Dimitri Riedwyl for his warm hospitality and going above and beyond to make my stay memorable. His kindness and availability for a tour around the area added a unique touch to my visit. I truly appreciated the personal touch and look forward to returning. Highly recommended!

Great location, very responsive and friendly staff, clean space, nice hot water, warm and cozy in the winter.

The location was exceptional - right in the heart of the Christian quarter of the Old City. The staff was kind and stayed up super late for our delayed arrival, and he upgraded our room to a fantastic two bed room with a separate private terrace. Amazing!

I have no complaints! Such a fantastic value for the money.

I loved ❤️ everything about the Petrakis Inn. The location was perfect Jaffa Gate second street on the left after passing The Tower of King David, delightful walk to the top up the steps and first door on the right! Easy entry and instructions to the room were extremely helpful … so were the staff … a message away and responses were quick and with wonderful solutions to everything needed. The room was very clean and had everything promised in a modern and functioning delivery. Sleep came easily every evening in wonderfully comfortable bedding and an amazing shower to wake up to in the morning. Starting each day fresh to enjoy the sites and sounds of the Old City of Jerusalem. A few steps up offer a coffee shop very modern with delicious latte or cappuccinos and pastries. The small groceries, gift shops and restaurants are bountiful. Notre Dame a short walk to the New Gate has a restaurant at the top with a panoramic view of the city, once used as a security lookout to protect the Old City. I love ❤️ it all!
