Hotel manager Kamal is a rude guy & do not want to do anything without money .Workers are good but he was ordering them not to do it without money . He wants money to book local tour & take commision .There is no lift in property .Not advisable to pay this much amount

The location

The sheets were not clean. They changed only the bed sheet and the pillow cases when we asked, not the duvet cover. The towels were extremely worn out. I know we get what we pay for but still there should be some decent hygiene standards. The walls are so thin that you can hear the next room's noise perfectly. The "no mountain view" rooms either have no windows or a back street view without any sun light.

Location

Nothing practically, On check-in, he asked for the entire money in advance which is quite unlikely with hotels on prepayment. On check-in, we found stinky bed sheets and dirty rooms, toilets were not properly cleaned. When we asked the manager to clean it, he replied," you don't get 5 star service at this price." I found property not being maintained by the owner and hotel manager. He sounded rude in behaviour and quite insulting. In the morning, the toilet was stuck and we requested to fix it asap as we were getting late for our departure. He didn't do anything rather told us to speak politely first. He cancelled our booking before our checkout so that we can't write reviews here. I would ask booking.com to remove this property from this destination for tourists as this property owner is not only rude and insulting but also manipulative. I would request visitors to stay away from this hotel .

We stayed in a mountain view room and really enjoyed it. Beautiful views and lovely big comfortable room. A very nice place to stay in Rishikesh.
