Friendliness and availability of hosts. Despite not being in the center, it is very close by foot. Simple but tasty breakfast. Pleasant and clean room.

Family were lovely and they were incredibly welcoming and helpful.

Property was basic and has limited facilities: microwave but no fridge, simple kitchen sink but no other cooking facilities. Strange blend of hotel and apartment set up although I presume facilities were mentioned in the listing (we booked in a hurry and it was very last-minute) so shouldn’t complain. It was obvious that we were the only people staying and I wonder if it had been closed or unoccupied for a while as the room smelt stale which was slightly offputting. The smell seemed to be coming from the bathroom as ventilation seemed minimal. Breakfast was basic, small but good.

Owners were welcoming and friendly and breakfast was freshly made by owners. Atmosphere was very relaxed.

It's a very basic and simple accommodation that you'd love if you are into staying with locals. The room was clean, the breakfast was good and the best part of our stay was the lady Anna who runs the place.

I would not call it a hotel, I'd manage people's expectations. It's for travellers who want to have a simple and authentic experience.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast, swimming pool. Practical location a short walk away from the various bus stations and town centre. Quiet with no outside noise was a nice change from some other Mexican hotels

Nice family. Basic room close to supermarket & not far from bus station or local transport to Chichen Itza

We had a problem with our shower - in the family room - which the family have promised me they would rectify. If anyone else experiences any issues please highlight this.
