The Wooden Gate

This is a very well-maintained and pleasant accommodation near Hang Mua. All the staff are friendly, and the meals and drinks provided are excellent. It's perfect for a quiet rest. It was the most comfortable place during my 10 days in Ninh Binh.

Very peaceful spot that felt secluded even though it's in the heart of Ninh Binh. Comfortable beds and clean floors and bathrooms. Great space for a family of four. Bikeable to many great cafes and restaurants and a short drive to attractions. Loved the pool, the cat and the daily breakfasts. Excellent friendly service

We loved our stay at the wooden gate - it was a relaxing and peaceful. The family room was spacious and beautiful. The bicycles were great and we toured around the lovely area with our kids. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was super nice.

The Wooden Gate is lovely, our room was spacious and very comfortable with a big bathroom. So easy going, the staff were lovely, most didn’t speak English but that wasn’t an issue, Lan was on hand via WhatsApp and nothing was a problem. Great bonus with the availability of a washer/dryer too. Bikes are available and walking around was easy. Lots of nice eateries within walking distance, where you could sit out on the river. Just perfect…..there was a lovely feeling of community

Nothing other than we could have stayed a few more days….

Location was beautiful, they had free bikes to rent which we rode around to access nearby sites. The staff were very friendly, and they went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay

Beautifully maintained gardens and lovely boho decor in the rooms. Apart from Lan (who was available over what's app) the other staff didn't speak much English but were friendly and we were able to communicate over translator app. The pool area was a nice oasis to sit beside. You have hire scooters and use the free bikes to get to places like dragon mountain and Trang An boat rides as it's slightly too far for walking but that wasn't a problem for us

Amazing place to stay in Ninh Binh! No need to look elsewhere!

Tôi thích mọi thứ nơi đây. Cảnh quan, bể bơi, dịch vụ đều rất tốt. Cơ sở vật chất tốt, tinh tế từ cuộn giấy vệ sinh đã có chất lượng tốt. Có cả máy lọc không khí. Là một nơi tuyệt vời để nghỉ dưỡng, tận hưởng sự yên bình.
