Hotel Foresteria Baglio Della Luna

This was such a cute property. There are not many places to stay in Agrigento but we were super happy with our find. It was clean, they had beautiful sitting and chilling places overlooking the temples. The staff was so amazing and helpful. I forget the gentleman’s name overlooking the food arrangements but we arrived around 4pm - hungry and tired - and he was so nice to assist us with food in non restaurant hours. Julia was also super nice. She showed us around the property and it was great to know the significance of this historic place. The dinner was splendid as well at the restaurant. Must try…

I guess the bathrooms could be little more nicer.

Le jardin et la vue sur les temples, que ce soit depuis la chambre, le jardin ou le toit de la tour. Le bâtiment en soi et l'atmosphère du baglio.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal (wir durften zum Beispiel die Dachterrasse des „Torre“ besuchen, um die tolle 360 Grad-Rundsicht zu geniessen). Unser Zimmer besass einen kleinen Balkon - mit wohltuendem Schatten am Nachmittag - und freiem Blick auf das Valle dei Templi. Das Zimmer war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Sehr schöner und gepflegter Garten. Abendessen auf der offenen Gartenterrasse, wiederum mit Blick auf die beleuchteten Tempel. Sehr gute Küche und ebenfalls sehr freundliches und kompetentes Servierpersonal.

La ubicación frente al Valle de los Templos, la torre histórica donde está instalado el hotel, la atención del personal, el desayuno excelente, la cena mirando los templos iluminados, el jardín, el patio, todas las instalaciones. Todo excelente.

Beautiful property in a 1300 old tower but our rooms in the tower were very “tired”. Also the service from the staff was very basic - nothing over the top. The restaurant was delicious but no extras like a chocolate or cookie at the end but the breakfast Buffett was wonderful. We had one bottle of water in the room - never replaced and no tea/coffee or any other amenities in the room with a very old and weak blow dryer.

It was overpriced for what we got. No one was serving in the bar ever - we always had to ask for someone to come. The laundry service was not operating and the internet went out for 8 hours.
