Ravana Garden

De kamer was mooi, hadden een upgrade gekregen. Zat leuk badje en tuintje bij.

Het concept is leuk bedacht maar hoe mooi het allemaal verwoord wordt en hoe de site er uit ziet is het absoluut niet. Het resort heeft echt achterstallig onderhoud. Er werd op een eerdere review gereageerd dat er een maand geleden onderhoud werd gepleegd maar daar was niets van te zien. Tuin is een grote zandbak, zwembad is daarintegen wel lekker. Maar ook daar moet flink aan de bak om het weer netjes te maken De activiteiten die allemaal benoemd worden op de site slaan al helemaal nergens op. We hebben een fietsroute gedaan. Dit was letterlijk een blokje om de bruine rijstvelden op een kinderfiets. De avondwandeling was in principe prima, al stelde het niets voor. We werden opgehaald door een elektrische auto, werd wel 100 keer benoemd dat het elektronisch was. De auto stonk naar natte zweetvoeten en viel uit elkaar, zijpaneel zat niet eens op de deur. Het eten wordt leuk geserveerd maar de kwaliteit is echt niet goed. Ook 4 keer aangegeven dat ik geen vis eet. Vervolgens ligt er in de ochtend alsnog vis op mijn bord. Zeer gevaarlijk voor iemand met allergieën. Als je aan het eten bent en je de laatste hap op eet wordt je bord al weggehaald en wordt het volgende bord al neergezet. Personeel kijkt letterlijk het eten van je bord omdat ze weg kunnen zodra je klaar bent met eten. Het personeel is aardig en doet z'n best maar het is absoluut het geld niet waard. Wij hadden echt spijt dat we waren geweest ondanks de mooie kamer.

Tutti i pasti, dalla colazione alla cena, sono gustosi e ricchi di ingredienti che arrivano direttamente dal giardino del resort e dai produttori della circostante zona di Nonagama; le ricette prendono spunto dalla tradizione singalese con un twist contemporaneo. E se in qualsiasi momento della giornata si ha voglia di un succo di frutta fresca, il gentilissimo Lakshitha lo serve sempre con professionalità e cura. Tutto lo staff è sempre disponibile per accompagnarvi in una delle escursioni o attività che propongono; tutti assieme concorrono a farti passare un soggiorno speciale rendendo la tua esperienza al Ravana Garden indimenticabile!

Ravana is an experience of nature hotel that if you want to relax and have some adventure you can choose this place its a must..All the staff were amaizing,helpful,full attention and the manager nalin he was so gentle and really helpful he did his best for us and we well enjoy his help that he give us ..Thank you so team we will definitely coming back .everyone who choosing ravana garden please its the best choose for new experience..

Ravana is one of the place in Sri lanka that has touched us immensely... The team became like a family towards us, the special touches and little surprises for our honeymoon was so much appreciated. If you are looking to reconnect with your inner self, with nature and your well being this is the place to be. The food was fresh, healthy and so full of flavours. Kitchen team well done. The service staff was so kind and attentive. The doctors were helpful and gave fruitful advice thank you Iresha. We enjoyed every day of our stay.. They organised a scenic and breathtaking hike and picnic, and a lovely dinner under the stars... The whole team is doing a marvelous job at Ravana thanks to the resort manager for his kind hospitality. We had the most memorable experience. We were so grateful and sad to leave.. Totally recommend.

Prachtige locatie direct aan het strand. Heel rustig, vrijwel geen andere mensen op het strand te vinden. Ver weg van een drukke stad als Colombo. Fantastisch ontvangen door het hotelpersoneel. Echt in de watten gelegd.

Niet dat het niet beviel, maar je moet er wel rekening mee houden en er van houden. 3x per dag echt traditioneel sri lankees eten. Op verzoek houden ze rekening met de pittigheid.

We enjoyed the warm welcome and very friendly service during out 7 days stay. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were outstanding regarding quality and taste, varity of all dishes. Additionally we used the relaxing massages and enjoyed all other services and support by the staffs. The concept of the hotel regarding sustainability and individual service is exceptionell.

Jest to kameralny obiekt nastawiony na bardzo indywidualne podejście do gości. Jeśli szukasz sztucznego blichtru wielkich resortów, gdzie alkohol leje się strumieniami, nie jest to miejsce dla Ciebie. Przyjedź jeśli szukasz spokoju, intymności, pięknych plaż i miejsca wiernego idei, która przyświeca jego prowadzeniu. Warto zatrzymać się conajmniej na kilka dni, żeby poczuć atmosferę tego hotelu. Dziękujemy całej ekipie i pozdrawiamy!

Resort concept is good. Ideal for a healthy living style seeker. Location is great. Friendly staff. Lovely getaway from crowded city life.

Having been fortunate enough to have stayed at the hotel and been the only guests for 3 out of the 8 days we were there. This gave us a unique experience of the hotel and the staff. We felt like we had our own private hotel. The hotel has a very local feel to it with an impression of being submerged in the forest surrounded by greenery. So much wildlife and the sound of the ocean constant crashing on the beach The team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome comfortable and at home. As an eco hotel with full board we were not sure how it would be and if we would enjoy the experience. The locally sourced fresh food was amazing and could not be faulted. We could not help but leave empty plates after every meal. We would highly recommend viewing the video on the iPad provided in the room. This will give you a better idea of the resort and how it works. If travelling with younger kids or fussy eaters the hotel was very flexible and help making some simple foods for it 4 year old son. We were lucky enough to visit Sri Lanka at New Year and the team were very kind to arrange a special breakfast and involve us with the traditional ceremonies, celebrations and games and even planting the trees❤️ After this vacation we felt so comfortable we almost felt like we were at home. I’m sure everyone has different experiences and when visiting new places but our was just perfect for us. We would highly recommend this resort to any of our friends or anyone planning to visit Sri Lanka. We would like to thank our hosts, again, for the amazing time we had in the Ravana Garden resort! Will be back for sure ♥️
