Es ist eine sehr schöne, perfekt gelegene, sehr gepflegte Unterkunft unmittelbar am Taranaki. Sie verfügt über ein schönes Restaurant, in dem man sehr lecker speisen kann. Frühstück ist ebenfalls auf Wunsch im Angebot. Preislich ist alles ein bisschen gehobener, es ist aber alles stimmig mit der Lage, Ausstattung und Qualität der Unterkunft. Das Personal ist sehr willkommenheißend und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und aufgehoben gefühlt.

The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. They met our every need and when we asked for extra things, they were very quickly accommodating. It was excellent in every way.

Nothing. Everything was perfect

Room 5 was the best with a view of Mt Taranaki from the back of the room. The location of the property was brilliant! Removed from civilisation but had everything necessary for a wonderful relaxing 3 night stay. The restaurant was fantastic! Everything at breakfast and dinner was cooked to perfection!! Very friendly staff, shout out to Joanne, Kris and Dina for lovely service as well as a couple of other waitresses whose names we didn’t catch. The owner was also very friendly and made sure we were happy. Loved the Kamahi Loop Track with the amazingly beautiful Goblin Forest right at our doorstep!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food - especially the steak and dessert. Since they were closed on my checkout date, they provided me with a delicious continental breakfast. Wonderful location for local hiking, with a trailhead right next to the hotel and a beautiful viewpoint only 5 minutes away. Overall I absolutely loved my stay and would come back / recommend to others!

The walls are thin so I can imagine this would be challenging during the busy season. For me, it wasn't a problem! Also, the rooms can get warm and stuffy - nothing that opening the windows couldn't help! The front door of the room faces directly outside to the parking lot on the ground level so there's not much privacy if you want to leave the shade open. Also, be aware that they're closed on Mondays.

The meal in the restaurant was excellent

There was coffee and tea in the room but a couple of plates and some cutlery would have been nice. We had some cake to have with our cup of tea but no plates, or a knife to cut it.

The bar closed early, we were constantly hassled as to whether we were staying for dinner or having breakfast the next day. Food portions were tiny and food was cold.
