You won’t find a better location than Petra Guest House—it’s as close as you can get to Petra itself! We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade to one of the larger rooms with a balcony, and it was absolutely worth it. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, spacious, and the air conditioning is top-notch. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Their warmth, thoughtfulness, and genuine care made our stay unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Petra Guest House—you turned our visit into something truly special!

Everything was good

The location was right next to the entrance to Petra. The hotel was fabulous. The rooms were clean spacious and nice. The staff upon check-in was super friendly and gave us refreshments when we came in. They helped us go all the way into our room and made us feel very welcome like family. Fruit and a treat were waiting for us in the room along with rose petals on our bed. We had problems getting cash out at the ATM, but the hotel had money services! The cave bar was delicious had great meals fantastic drinks and delicious desserts. we went there twice because it was so good . Our server Mohammad was very helpful . The aloe vera breakfast was amazing. I like vegetarian options, my husband likes meat and my kids love pastries. Everything was delicious. Omar, the staff and the chef were accommodating and super friendly. They anticipated our every need. We couldn’t ask for a better service. Our whole family said on our Jordan trip, this was the best. We went to Petra to live out my childhood Indiana Jones dream and this hotel and restaurants just made it that much better! I would tell anyone come to Petra and stay here. It’s a must !The Petra guest house for the win!

You can't find a better located property to stay in while at Petra- it's right next to the entry gate, shops, museum and visitors' centre. The staff are awesome, the views are marvellous (see photos attached), the Cave Bar is one of its kind and the rooms are wonderful, spacious, clean and comfortable. We got upgraded to the Chalet since it was my wife's birthday- big thank you! Spent two nights and loved every minute - would go only here, if visiting again. PS: The rooms facing the the mountains towards the entry gate are the ones to pick.

Nothing much. Those with mobility issues will have challenges getting to the chalets located right on top- needs some stairs even after the lift.

La liste de ce nous avons apprécié est longue... Tout d'abord, l'emplacement est absolument idéal : on est au pied du site ! L'équipe est aux petits soins et extrêmement gentille : Un grand merci à Omar au restaurant, Abdallah à la réception et Mohammed au bar. Ils ont rendus notre séjour encore meilleur par leur bienveillance. La chambre, spacieuse, est très belle : lit king size et literie tellement confortable ! La salle de bains est bien équipée, et tout est particulièrement propre. Le petit déjeuner, très généreux, et le diner sont excellents, nous nous sommes régalés. Le "Cave Bar" est très sympa, les soirées chichas dans ce lieu d'exception étaient géniales. Un séjour parfait.
