Petra Guest House Hotel

Great location and great hotel! Staff and breakfast are incredible! Do yourself a favor and stay here! The lovely welcome fruit and snacks are a nice touch!

Perfect location to Petra. This hotel is located at the Petra gate, making it the most convenient in proximity. The entire hotel staff was accommodating from the front desk to the dining staff. Everyone was always checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and were satisfied with the service. The night before our long hiking day into Petra, we requested lunch boxes to be prepared along with transportation to the back entrance to the Monastery. When we woke up the next day, everything was perfectly arranged as requested. We also had a couple opportunities to enjoy the Cave Bar on the property as well as a few restaurants within walking distance. While driving around the town the next day, we quickly realized that not all hotels are created equal as there was much traffic that we did not experience at our location. We were extremely satisfied with our experience at the Petra Guest Hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and tasty options, Sohaib who serves breakfast was very kind! The location was perfect — close to everything, yet quiet and relaxing. What really stood out was the attention to detail and the genuine kindness of everyone working there. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Exceptionally well situated to visit Petra and close to local restaurants. We enjoyed our evening drinks at the unique Cave Bar and the service was extremely friendly, both at the reception desk and in the dining room. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

I had a wonderful stay at the Petra Guest House. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. The manager, Mr Ahmad, was exceptionally kind and helpful, always making sure everything was perfect. All the staff were friendly, attentive, and constantly smiling — it really makes a difference. The room was lovely — clean, comfortable, and well-appointed — providing a perfect place to relax after a day exploring. And the location? Absolutely unbeatable. It is quite literally right next door to the Petra historical site, which makes early starts and late returns so easy. You simply cannot get a better location. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Petra.

De todos los hoteles que me quedé recorriendo, sin dudas fue el mejor, rica comida, el buffet es super amplio! No me quería ir de ahí, es un poco caro pero vale la pena cada peso, es destacable la gentileza de cada uno de los trabajadores, sobre todo de Sohaber y Amer al momento de atender se nota el esmero por hacer sentir cómodos a los huéspedes.

Brand new bathroom. Breakfast spread. Lovely staff - Sohaib and Khaled particularly helpful. Cave bar is very memorable.

Room’s a little dated although new bathroom had been fitted. No smart tv.

Posizione perfetta vicino all’ingresso principale di Petra, camere spaziose molto pulite, colazione ricca e molto varia, staff molto gentile, parcheggio compreso in caso di affitto automobile senza sovraccosti. Letto King size e estremamente comodo, lenzuola molto comode. Doccia molto spaziosa e set di benvenuto con accappatoio e ciabattine.

La televisione in camera aveva una pessima qualità, il segnale era debole e i canali non erano visibili.
