The property is overrated and it doesn’t look exactly like the video shared by the owners

I had a surreal experience with this property. It felt like one of those rare places where you instantly slow down and relax. The mountain views from the huge glass window of cosmic nest felt unreal — especially with chai in my hand and cloudy weather outside. It was a much needed escape from delhi heat at the moment. Overall, the cottages are cozy, peaceful, and beautifully done without feeling over the top. Everything felt warm, clean, and thoughtfully looked after, and the staff made the experience even better with their hospitality. There was attention to detail for all needs, which is rare in my experience.

Ok location, bad hospitality

While the property itself had potential, the management was overly transactional and lacked hospitality. After a long journey, we checked in at 9:30 pm and asked for 30 minutes to settle in before dinner. Instead, we were repeatedly interrupted by staff for registration and IDs (which we had already provided). The most frustrating part was the timing of the owner's messages. Just as we sat down to eat, we were pressured to send payment immediately, despite the common practice in Uttarakhand of settling the bill at checkout. Moments later, while still eating, we received another message regarding checkout times. We felt rushed and monitored rather than welcomed. If you are looking for a relaxing stay where you can "breathe," this may not be the place for you. Don't be surprised if he asks for pre authorised credit car for incidental payments. Besides the transactional behaviour:- 1)A sky cabin sliding door would not get locked. 2)No curtains. Save your energy for keeping an alarm because the room will be bright lit at 6 am 3) The bed length of the double bed is so small. You have to sleep diagonally to fit in. So it works marginally better for a single person 4) No pressure in the shower 5) Views are great but since the sun rises right in the balcony and is facing your room till assuming till 11:30 ( I checked out at 10:30, it was difficult to sit in the balcony. This place is suitable for a one-time stay, particularly for temple visitors who need a base near the commercial area. However, if you are a traveler seeking genuine hospitality and a space to unwind, look elsewhere. The experience is highly transactional and lacks the warmth one hopes for in a homestay. It works if you just need a bed, but not if you’re looking for a relaxing or welcoming atmosphere. And expect the food bills to pop while you are just finishing your meal or literally just finished,either by text message from the host or by the staff with a phone and 'invoice'

The location

The heating facility was so pathetic like it was -1 outside and peak raining, it wasn’t cosy at all from the inside. Tried their normal cottage & then upgraded to the dome both of them froze us to death. Secondly the food was so bad ngl with very limited menu probably the only thing that’s edible is their ragi pancakes that’s all about it.

The calmness, peace and joy. They have the best Himalayan view with most tasty pahadi food. And the staff is very friendly and nice.

It was way better than I expected.

Wonderful stay, amazing host and a superb team. The place was beautiful, with amazing views, great tasting food and the best honey (produced in-house) were some of the highlights.
