The hotel is of much better quality than most you see in this area. The location is further out of the center along the lagoon. The positive effect is breakfast with views of bathing elephants and no noise of nightlife for example. Rooms are spacious, well outfitted and clean. As the location is further from the center there is a Tuk Tuk to drop you once a day free of charge from the hotel.

The location has its benefits, but the road towards the hotel is in very bad conditions with no lights along the road. So after sunset walking back to the hotel is not recommended and most Tuk Tuk on the street don’t want to get to the hotel because of the more remote location and the state of the road. The result is long waiting times and higher prices if the hotel Tuk Tuk is not available or not coming within a short time. Mobility for that reason feels more limited as you would not travel back and forth during the day from the beach to refresh before lunch/dinner.

It was an amazing experience. The view, the food and the staff were all excepcional, especially Fironze, an old man with an amazing heart always with a smile to give. I strongly recommend this place. The Tuk Tuk free service is also a good idea.

An unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Perfect place if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle - a super quiet spot which faces the natural lagoon and a banging pool. They offer scooter rentals which made our trips to the city easier! Absolutely recommend staying here.

The waterviews were magical, complete with elephants in the distance! Location was a ten minute Tuk Tuk away from town, though that was the charm. So relaxing and serene. Loved the stunning rock formations and trees. The rooms were beautifully designed and bigger than expected, true craftsmanship! We'll be back!

The coffee wasn't what we were used to and no alcohol was sold on site which was fine for us, good for guests to know before so you can byo. Overall it didn't affect our stay as everything else was so perfect :)

Beautiful hotel and rooms, clean, friendly staff and the scenery is just breath taking with a pool overlooking the lagoon. It takes 5 minutes by Tuk Tuk to get to the center of Arugam Bay.

We wanted to stay longer and asked several times if there were available rooms but the manager never came back to us…
