The hotel is warm and welcoming. We had very bad weather so can't we comment of the views unfortunately. The accommodation is simple but had everything we needed. A traditional Swiss buffet breakfast was available with a choice of breakfast foods. It was all delicious. The red-shelled eggs were a point of conversation. We had to stop ourselves from going back for thirds! We had dinner there once and although we found it pricey, it was so delicious that I still think about it! The mushroom sauce was simply unbelievable. There was enough English spoken by the lady that we managed to communicate (with a bit of help from a translator app). We had a shared bathroom but it was immaculately clean and in great working order.

Only one small negative point: Walking into the restaurant from the hotel can feel like walking into a private club where you're not welcome. The owners and their friends sit at the table by the door and when we walked in, a couple of times, the whole table stopped their conversation and just stared at us without saying a word until we asked to be seated / checked in. However they are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming once you introduce yourself and communicate your intentions. There is no English on the menu so come ready with a translator app on your phone.

Correct accommodation in a setting with beautiful views.

Breakfast was below our expectations for the price of the accommodation. There was a choice of muesli, yoghurt and a few basic spreads, but salami or anything else was really bland.
