Rooms were nice and clean

Breakfast was lovely, but at the moment they aren't opening the bar so there is no evening place to sit around. There is a club over the road instead that is very welcoming.

There was no shower curtain so it was a bit awkward to shower standing up and not flood the place

Breakfast was very good

Accommodation was fair but is a pub but the bar wasn’t open. Had a couple of hours to kill before the taxi arrived and had to spend it in our room. Not good.

The location was good and the room was very comfortable.

I was informed after booking that no food/drink facilities were available on site, but still paid the same amount. Breakfast was kindly provided to take away but I had to order food in for the evening and there were no glasses or cutlery available. Also,there was no heating on when I arrived and I had to stand outside in the rain waiting for check in. I appreciate there were staff shortages but this should have been made clearer and costs adjusted.

The room was lovely, a converted stable block with beautiful high ceiling and open beams. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast plentiful with excellent quality food and well presented. A great location for Castle Combe Circuit.

Sadly the restaurant and bar were not open other than for breakfast. We hope the owner recovers her health sufficiently to re-open these in the near future.

Location was where I needed to be. Welcome was friendly. Sign on door was helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Staff member showed me the plug in heater as central heating wasn't really working. Breakfast was adequate.

It was difficult to find. This was because I was not aware prior to arriving that the pub and restaurant were closed. So I was looking for a building operating as a pub, and missed it as the lights in the front rooms of the pub were not on. Fortunately I did not require dinner, but would have been disappointed if I had, as there was nothing else nearby. The bathroom was clean, but was a bath with a shower attachment, rather than a stand-up shower (either alone or over a bath). I did not use it as I have mobility issues which mean getting in and out of a bath isn't really safe, so I rely on showering standing up.
