The Jolly Huntsman

We had a warm welcome at the jolly huntsman. Breakfast was lovely fresh food and good choices. Room was lovely and very clean. Choice of hot drinks in the room. We stayed two night visiting surroundings areas family n friends. Had the best stay here would definitely come again

Due to illness the bar was shut and there were no evening meals. We had been told af the situation before our holiday

Great location in picturesque village. Room was ok but facilities basic. Breakfast was good quality.

Pub was closed which was not communicated at time of booking. We would not have booked if we had known. There was very little choice but to sign in at the club over the road for fish and chip special or drive even further out of town. We appreciate the health issues communicated to us on arrival but the rooms should be marketed as b&b only to avoid disappointment.

Quiet location

The bed !

We received a warm welcome and the room was spotless with a comfortable bed. Staff provided us with cutlery and plates for our takeaway as the pub itself is currently closed. Breakfast was well cooked and plentiful.

Dining options are few and far between within walking distance. Hopefully the pub will be in a position to reopen in the near future.

Lovely little pub in a countryside village near Bath. The room was clean, staff were lovely and there was a delicious breakfast.
