We can view sunrise and sunset from the top floor which was handy. Room size was good and the beds were comfortable.

Breakfast was very average (Idli was very tasteless). The A/C in the room was loud, so had to move. The sink in the room was dirty and had to ask them again to be cleaned.

The ambience, location, food

On the 2nd night, there were also some ICSE students from Banglore. They started to play at the corridor ca. 20.30 and continued till 12.30, when front office manager came and asked them to stop the dirty, inhuman, uncivic, uncultured, uncivilized, brutal behaviors. It was a very sad incident. I didn't make any public protest, out of grave fear! At a time, I even decided to call the police. Then what would have happened to the hotel owners, the uncivilized students. There were several children, women were also there to sleep. My question: why the responsible people failed to act and react to this incident so late ?

I recently stayed at Hotel Viswa Grand in Kanyakumari, and overall, it was a pleasant experience with a few areas for improvement. The hotel’s location is a standout feature—just a short walk from Sunset View Point and close to major attractions like Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue. The rooftop terrace offers stunning views of both sunrise and sunset, which was a highlight of my stay. The rooftop swimming pool is a nice touch, though some maintenance could make it even better. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and modern amenities like air conditioning and a balcony with a partial sea view. The staff were courteous and responsive, especially the property manager, who was helpful in guiding us about local attractions.
