Breakfast very good

Perfect overnight destination for our group. Neat and tidy rooms, good restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and well priced. Staff were friendly and helpful

We loved the beautiful, peaceful setting in a hotel that has the charm of yesteryear. Elsabe was so welcoming and accommodating, ensuring we were comfortable and happy. We had a tasteful lamb curry for dinner and a delicious breakfast which included "mealie meal pap", what a treat! The bedroom had an electric blanket, lovely bathroom products and cosy gowns. If you enjoy tranquility and true country hospitality, this is the place to visit.

The bathroom door was a sliding door which didn't close entirely, so a lack of privacy when using the bathroom.... Otherwise we were very happy.

I liked the remoteness and relaxed atmosphere. I like the old charm of the hotel. The staff was friendly and food good.

There was a glitch with bookkeeping, but it was sorted immediately.

Beautiful old building, grounds, garden and set up. Spacious old world rooms, best quality linen. Love the furnishings and attention to detail. We were made to feel so safe and well-cared for by the lovely Frances. It made the entire experience unforgettable.
