Location was great for the high street

The property was old appliances, plastic bag on the smoke detector along with trip hazards and a broken lock that stopped us from leaving the room with force, we had tried to call the reception and out of hours number - no one answered or were there and this was 9.30 in the morning!)

very lovely room i had a wonderful view of the cathedral and reception staff were incredibly helping and sweet

Close to all amenities. Relaxed atmosphere.Rooms have baths and showers.Water is hot.Helpful pleasant staff.

The location was near everything

It needs a lick of paint and the carpet that was in my room needs to have a new one and the bathroom was cold

Superb location and very nice staff.

Hotel is badly in need of a complete refit...everything is old, aging, dreary and obsolete. Minor annoyances: no towel hooks in bath; an awful bed consisting of a poor mattress on top of a box spring on the floor; all rooms are on upper floors with no lift. With capital investment this location could be a delight.

Great value for the price

We very much loved the Roll top bath. And it was value for money for that weekend.

We paid for the best room which we didn't mind we would'vepreferredto of been on the top floor as it wasn'tgreat beingabovea nightclub. The room was small, the bathroom ideally large, but up low stairs in the room. The room wasn't changed at all whilst we were there.
