Village Inn on the Lake

Gap towards the bottom of the door. Could see the light from the outside. Could use additional safety lock on the door. It was OK. Didn't know if there was a breakfast served or if there were snacks available to purchase. Not much communication during check-in.

The location was great for what I was in town for.

The bed had crumbs and grit on the sheets and I did not sleep at all. I kept having to brush and brush and brush the sheets throughout the night. I was so tired from the day I should have gone to another bed. It was late. The office was closed and I had no idea they had an employee that lived there to report to. I did complain to the woman working the front desk in the morning at checkout.

The room

That the pool said it was open till 11pm and they closed it at 7pm

We stayed in the spa suite, the room was clean and the hot tub was so great and just what we needed. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. The staff was so friendly offering to be there if anything was needed no matter what time of day it was.

The bed was a little hard I think there could have been bigger pillows to for the king size bed.

The pool was amazing!

We went on thanksgiving, and checked in around 6 or 7, and when we got there the entire property was shut down. The office and pool were closed and there was a sign that just said “Closed at 4pm on Thanksgiving”. No number to call. I decided to look up the number and call the property, and a man answered. He ended up being in a different room on the property and came right down. He checked us in and even opened the pool for us and was very friendly. We just didn’t like the initial anxiety that came with driving up to a hotel that looked closed down. My suggestion would be if they do that include a number to call that says “call this number for service” or something.
