Crossroads by Chef & Brewer Collection

Room was a good size, perfect for what we needed. Most powerful hotel shower I have ever used, and it was a decent temperature. Heating was on when we arrived so the room was lovely and warm too.

For some reason they decided to either mow the lawn or use a leaf blower at like 8am. Thankfully we were getting up and going out, but not really what you expect to be woken up by 1st thing on a Saturday morning. Little things needed work, like the carpet was coming up in all the corners and some of the tiles were cracked in the bathroom. And one of the light bulbs needed changing.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Location was great, and it was easy to find. The beds were comfortable, lovely duvets and pillows. Room facilities were great.

The room was very tired; could do with a refurb. We had a large spider in the room to welcome us.

Tatty decor, but not damp. Skirting needs painting, bathroom could do with a makeover. Creaky floor from above Breakfast a little later than 9am, but I guess they know what works best.
