Having a double bed rather than a King

The one bedroom apartment was excellent standard.

The outdoor area and terrace was looking sad, lots of weeds and the outdoor furniture was broken. Could easily be improved.

The location was lovely, hotel was quirky, car parking good , well kept bar

Storage in room could be better, also bathroom needs a shelf or two

Wide choice available for breakfast served by friendly staff. Evening meal on Saturday for the 6 of us was very good.

The cottage was lovely nice little garden to sit in. Location was great for Crich and other attractions. The ambience of a 16th century inn. Food was excellent and the breakfast kept you going all day. Well worth a visit. We are definitely going back later in the year. Great find.

The location was lovely. And on first look was nice. The bedroom was lovely, and the bed was comfy. I'd asked for a fan and they kindly supplied one. Communication with the owner was quick and efficient.

It was generally unclean and smelt strongly of dogs. Sadly, there were numerous dog hairs. The fridge had spills and crumbs in it. It just looked like maybe it had been missed and a good clean it would have been perfect.

Location was great lovely views . Staff really friendly and helpful. Great food . Nice cottage to stay with the dog

Unfortunately the bed was not very comfortable and we had no hot water for the shower

The old quaint building was fantastic with all the same original features. The staff were superb, friendly and very efficient.

The evening meal had a little too much salt added
