Wonderful staff, food and location

Cottage needed some TLC. Peeling paint, missing bed knob, trailing electric cables, no instructions for TV, shower head breaking etc. If the price had included the excellent breakfast, then I think it would have been value for money. As it was, a little overpriced for the standard of accommodation.

"Delightful, historic building in a beautiful location. Accommodation a bit quirky bit I loved it."

9.0

Excellent breakfast, two friends joined me for dinner and that was just as good. Strange room with no TV in the bedroom part and two small bathrooms. Very comfortable beds. Very friendly landlady and chef. Good draught beer.

Completely crazy lack of hooks or towel rails. Both bathrooms need at least two hooks and the main rooms also. I would recommend the "Command"adhesive hooks which can also be removed without leaving unsightly holes.

Location, staff, food, dog friendly

Bed frame very creaky, bathroom could use an upgrade (and very cheap loo roll!)
