At night there is a taco or hot dog stand in front of the hotel that you can hear all the noise.

Hotel is opposite public square area and on the weekends is kind of loud.

"It is like coming to stay with family!"

We travel to Puerto Vallerta from Canada once a year passing through Matehula twice. We have always stopped at hotel del parque. Our initial concern when we travelled was making sure our car would be safe but we were very impressed not only by the accommodations and staff but by the restaurant. While the restaurant still has a five star breakfast we have been very disappointed in recent years that it is no long open for dinner. It used to serve the best arrechera we had ever eaten!

No English Channel on tv.
