Monteverde

We usually stay in Monteverde, it has wonderful views, it's safe for the kids to play around and also there's enough distance btw each cabin to feel privacy. Staff is always nice and helpful

Been there half a dozen times in the past year. It’s a beautiful area and at times quiet with only the birds and wind in the pines to hear. Landscaping is nice.

On two different stays the hot water heater went out. The office is quick to respond and have someone relight the pilot light on the gas water heater. The most recent stay was worse because the small copper lines for the flame were restricted by the lines being bent. Luckily they offered me a different cabaña. The staff is very accommodating and is much appreciated by me.

Staff was very nice. The grounds are pretty. Location is close to town but still very private and secluded.

Hot water didn't work, wifi barely worked. Old towels, old sheets.

If We Have Have more Blanket

Love the setting of the property, quiet(ish), brought our room service quickly, staff was good.

Too rustic for us. There was no heater and the fireplace doesn’t have a blower for the air to get into the cabin — we basically heated the outdoors. While our kitchen was clean, it smelled funny, the fridge leg was broken so it wobbled and when we arrived it was unplugged and open so it took a while to get cold for the food we brought. The bed pillows were uncomfortable.
