Beautiful property and really well laid out and enough to keep you busy!!! The staff were also amazing always friendly and helpful and they took time to know everyone’s names and brought my daughter a nice large cookie which she enjoyed!!

Maybe the rooms felt a little distant from the restaurant and the pool was nice but maybe they could get some heating for just after summer, the water was really cold!!

We had a fabulous 4-night stay with our 2 year old at La Paris in February at the end of our trip to SA and it was a real highlight. The family suite was beautiful, spotless and roomy for us with a very comfortable, huge bed. The hotel and grounds are stunning and extremely well-maintained, and we loved exploring them with our toddler (and she loved the playground!). The staff were lovely, especially Ashleen who went out of her way to look after us. Little things like being picked up from the car park in a golf buggy made this feel *****. We had breakfast included and it was excellent. The pool area also felt luxurious/boutique, while also being suitable for our toddler to wade in. There's not loads of rooms at the hotel, so the whole experience felt quite exclusive. We would highly recommend staying here!

While we were there, breakfast times were 9am-11am which, with a young child, was a bit of a long wait in the morning but our room had a fridge, kettle etc so we were able to keep milk, snacks etc. Probably not an issue if you don't have an early riser!

Breakfasts were very good

Very poor value for money. Hugely overpriced compared to the facilities and standard of accommodation available at other similarly priced facilities. Five star price for two to three star accommodation. We would not stay there again. But staff were excellent and breakfasts were very good.

It’s very peaceful and our room was very big. The grounds and the pool area are lovely.

A few minor things: The 10am check out is unreasonably early. The noise from the road is tolerable but noticeable. For the price it would be nice if it had a gym. The breakfast was nice but we had dinner there once and they were serving a lunchtime menu for dinner and the food was fine but nothing special. Feel they should have told us that in advance and we would have gone somewhere else.

The breakfast offered at the restaurant was great and there was water in the fridge. The property is well located to wine farms and Franshoek. The unit we were in was large.

The unit we were in was large and had alot of space. However the showers were badly blocked and smelt really bad, the finishes was shocking. The curtains were falling off the hooks, scatter cushions on beds and couch were dirty, swimming pool was dirty. The general upkeep of the property was beyond acceptable. When you walk from restaurant to the rooms, you can look into the big storeroom window and it was a big mess this is the first thing you see, this is an indication on the attention to detail one could expect. The staff assumed to be shocked by the condition of the unit again an indication to the attention to detail as the manager should check all rooms before check in. The hotel offered a refund however the time away that should have been special was already spoilt. i believe when you charge high end prices R8000 a night you should be on top of your game.

The room was nice and spacious, the bed massive and the bathroom was wonderful. A large bathtub and shower. We spent time by the pool which is great and walked around the grounds which are beautiful. Can also highly recommend breakfast at the restaurant.

Breakfast was exceptional as was the service from all staff from our arrival right the way through to our departure. The room was very comfortable.
