Hotel Karlo Kastle - Paharganj - New Delhi

Very disappointed. The listing gave the impression of a comfortable, reasonably equipped hotel with basic amenities included. In reality, the experience fell well below that expectation. For example: - There were no basic toiletries provided, including shower gel. - The advertised breakfast and dinner were extremely limited (essentially a single dish choice) and served at very restrictive and impractical times, which was not made clear in the listing. - There were building works in the same floor and I felt observed/unsafe coming in/out. The sockets wouldn't work (I was on the first floor, for reference) The overall environment and condition of the property did not align with the photos or description presented on Booking.com. Including mould in my room. Had these been accurately described, I would not have booked the property in the first place. I had to relocate to another hotel immediately to ensure a basic level of comfort and suitability for my stay. Furthermore, when I complained to the manager, they simply and rudely replied 'it's a non refundable booking'.

The biggest point of staying in this hotel is that the staff here is very helpful and the property is quite clean, hygienic and maintained
