Parlors Hall Hotel

Can't say we liked anything about our stay! Firstly there was no parking space in the hotel car park and M&S car park next door was full. When we entered the hotel the place was full and noisy there had been a funeral and the Wake was held there it took us a while to find some one to check us in. The girls serving in the bar were busy. The window in the room couldn't shut properly and left a draught in and the flat roof that served as the fire escape was just underneath the window and anyone could have opened the window from outside should they so wished! The bathroom was at a different level you had to go up three steps to it which was not good. The shower was tiny which didn't give you much room to have a decent shower! Breakfast was a disaster there was only one man there doing everything. The bacon was overcooked and hard and there wasn't much on the plate only one sausage no hash brown nor mushrooms couldn't really call it a FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST!! The stay was a complete disaster and not at all value for money. Was charged too much for our stay!!

Nothing, all was good

Great location. Close to cliff railway so good for high and low town.

Hotel is a bit tired and dated, but was obviously quite a grand house at one time. Our room was a good size, but our friends was small.

Staff very friendly, very clean hotel, breakfast lovely beds comfortable, bar are/lounge was lovely and welcoming and good prices for alcohol on evening
