Lovely spacious room and great balcony

Location was perfect for a do in Penkridge, close enough for a taxi but quiet away form the village centre . Easy parking , check in, room was an adequate size for a one night stay given we only slept there. Breakfast lovely, staff great

Had we been staying longer we would have found the room small and also bar closes early evening so there isn't anywhere comfy to go and sit in the evening with a drink .

Bathroom towel rail impossible to get warm, despite putting thermostat to highest, so bathroom stayed cold. Bathroom floor badly laid, so shower drain was not at lowest point, so floor stayed wet. Bathroom basin much too close to toilet, so not enough room round that. There was plenty of space for it to have been located further away.

A lovely country club. The room was comfortable and clean with everything you'd expect. The staff were lovely and breakfast was 10/10 Overall an excellent stay

Friendly staff , nothing too much trouble . Fluffiest towels and spotless everywhere . Quiet location but convenient for the M6 and M6 Toll road

Warm and quiet room, very comfortable after. Busy day at work, good gym with great facilities and nice bar food
