Breakfast was very good. Well cooked and filling. Lovely outlook over the golf course.

Desk top was a little cramped due to the slopping ceiling in our particular room. But not a big issue.

Friendly efficient staff

The location was very convenient to use as a base for family visiting, being close to the M6 and Birmingham, but in a peaceful, rural setting. My room was comfortable, with a nice bathroom/wet-room. The public areas were well maintained. Dinner in the lounge was pleasant. The dining experience is very much like being in a nice pub - order at the bar, food as described on the menu but not fancy. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

The shower head could be descaled, and made easier to adjust up and down, but otherwise all good.

All staff we interacted with were lovely - very helpful, warm and welcoming. Breakfast was nice. The location was peaceful and we had a lovely balcony view

It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room

Location very quiet, club premises and accommodation very clean

Breakfast just appeared to be the main cooked meal, juice and a hot drink - usual choices. No cereals etc or pastries. The second day we noted in small letters on the menu that cereals, yoghurt and fruit could be requested so my husband did so. On neither day was the usual toast and marmalade/jam offered, this the first time for me in many years of hotel stays. Also bedroom quite small and the bathroom had to be closed shut every time as the door would swing open to the full extent resting against the bed inhibiting free movement for the person on that side of the bed.
